I didn't start Happy Tails Are The Best because I saw a gap in the market. I started it because I couldn't find a pet shop that actually felt like it was run by someone who gets it, someone who's been woken up at 3am by a cat knocking things off the counter, or driven 20 minutes out of their way just to grab the one toy their dog won't stop looking for.

Her name was Biscuit. Golden retriever. Absolute chaos in a fur coat, and honestly the reason this whole thing exists.
When I got her, I quickly realized how overwhelming the pet supply world is. Too many options, confusing labels, products that looked great online and fell apart in a week. I spent more time researching than actually enjoying time with her, and that didn't feel right.
I wanted a store where pet owners could just trust what they were buying. Where someone had already done the homework, so you didn't have to.
That's what Happy Tails Are The Best is built on.
What we actually do differently
We don't carry everything. That's a choice.
Every product on this site has been looked at, tested, or vetted before it goes up. If something doesn't meet the bar, whether it's a dog collar that wears out too fast or a cat toy that loses its stuffing in day two, it doesn't make the cut. Simple as that.
We carry supplies for dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, and reptiles, because every kind of pet deserves quality gear. Whether you've got a 90-pound lab or a betta fish with a personality, you'll find something here that actually works.
We're pet people first, sellers second
Most of our team owns at least one pet. Some of us own three. That probably says enough.
